Hitoshi Masui, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist |
Hitoshi Masui joined the company in 2005, after serving as Assistant Professor
of Analytical Chemistry at Kent State University, and Visiting Associate Researcher at
York University in Toronto,
Ontario. In his position as Director of Research and Development, Hitoshi provides
leadership for the PharmEng Innovations scientific research, formation of technological
strategies and continued development of strong cooperative relationships with the
world's pharmaceutical community.
A teacher and innovator in the field of electroanalytical chemistry, Hitoshi
conducted research in solid electrolyte ion transport in sol-gel derived polyether-silica
hybrids, enantioselective electrode sensors, chlorine sensors based on adsorption
pseudocapacitance, and kinetic/mechanistic computer simulations of glycol oxidation.
Hitoshi Masui is a graduate of the University of Toronto and received his Ph.D.
from York University in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Siu-wah Cheung, B.Sc., Senior Scientist |
Siu-wah Cheung brings a wide diversity of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience,
ranging from psychiatry research to method development and validation. Prior to joining
PharmEng Innovations, Siu Wah held various positions in analytical and bioanalytical
laboratories with extensive experience with LC/MS /MS and Method development. Siu Wah
received her B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Toronto in
Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Yue Chen, M.S., Senior Research Scientist |
Yue Chen has over 10 years experience in analytical chemistry including four
years in the pharmaceutical industry. She concluded a four-year career with Patheon Inc.
holding the position of Analytical Laboratory Group Leader. In August 2006, Yue accepted
the position of Manager with PharmEng Innovations in Toronto, Ontario where she currently
heads the analytical laboratory. Yue Chen received her M.S. in Analytical Chemistry
from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada.
